Yes, the both of us had busy schedules and I’m so glad we made time to have lunch together. This was supposed to happen, way back in May but alas, I fell sick and we had to re-plan for a later time.
She brought along her little girl who is so adorable and having conversations with the little one, so interesting yet so random. Keke! I was even more surprised when she handed me a gift, with a handwritten card! Can I just say how much I appreciate handwritten cards? It is so rare for one to receive a card these days – especially NON-ELECTRONIC ones. That’s not all, I received 2 lovely bags *Happiness* which I had my eye on for awhile but just couldn’t decide to take the plunge. We ended our lovely lunch with ice cream from Marble Slab! Yummy!
I like this friend and she is for keeps, definitely.
